The day I was informed I can join Cub Scouts for CCA

It was Mathematics lesson on a scorching hot afternoon. A teacher went up to my classroom. The teacher called me and 2 of my other classmates to meet him outside the classroom. When we were outside the classroom. I thought we were going to get scolded. The teacher gave us a piece of paper and informed us we got into the Cub Scouts! 2 of my close friends in my class are now part of the scouting family! At the end of the school day, I excitedly inform my ARZ BFFs and to my delight, one of my ARZ BFF is also in Scouts! Yeay!!! This is great!

Upon reading the recruitment letter, I found out that I would be in the Green Six. I am excited as Green is my favourite colour! The letter includes a list of what I had to prepare before joining the scouting family.

I felt mixed emotions, shocked at first but very happy at the same time, I didn't think I would get into the Cub Scouts as many people had applied this year. I was excited as my uncle is a Scout Leader and my mother was a girl guide. Do you know that I have been introduced to Scouting in the early years of my life? I even wore a Scout Uniform when I was a baby! I am certainly looking forward to the fun activities and valuable lessons I would learn from Scouting !
