Task 1: Find out about the Founder of the Movement and name a pioneer in Singapore Scouting
The founder of the Movement is Mr. Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell commonly known as B.P, he was born on 22 February, 1857 at 11 Stanhope Terrace, Paddington, London (Formerly, 6 Stanhope Street). Scouts normally celebrate Founder's Day on 22nd February because of his birthday. I am looking forward to my first Founder's Day celebration.
A pioneer of Singapore Scouting is Mr. Frank Cooper Sands. Scouting was first introduced in Singapore in 1908 but was officially founded on 2 July 1910. Mr. Frank Cooper Sands arrived from Nottingham in September 1910 and spent 40 years helping to create the Singapore Scout Association (SSA). He is often called the "Father of Malayan Scouting".
Both 22nd Feb and 2nd July coincidentally are my parents' birth dates thus I should remember these dates easily.
Task 2: Meet someone who helps my Pack other than the Leaders

Another Scout Leader whom I have met and helps my Pack would be my Uncle, Mr. Maohaid Faizal. He works at the Singapore Scout Association and works with my teachers. The picture above is taken during the 2019 Scouts Investiture. He introduced scouting to me when I was much younger and also teach me scouting skills during the last school holidays.
Other than my Uncle, I have met a few other Scout Leaders who are my Uncle's friends. One of them is the teacher in charge for the Pack at Unity Secondary School, Mdm Hamida. She always encourages me when I am preparing for my tasks.
I would like to thank all my Scout leaders, at school and outside school for enriching my scouting journey.
