We’re Back!

Although a little late, being in April now, my blog is back to continue documenting my Scouting journey, after the long holiday break. Throughout the 6 weeks, I have joined the Black Knights Air Scouts open unit led by Mr Ang Wee Jin.

During the last six weeks, I went for multiple unit activities , being firstly Sketching and Orienteering which involved drawing a map of our surroundings at a checkpoint, being the SSA HQ. We were supposed to go for a hike that day, however due to improper attire from others, we weren’t able to. Following that was completing the Observer Proficiency Badge at Fort Canning Park. Lastly, was Pioneering and Knotting last weekend.

Other than those activities, on 2nd March 2024, I went to assist the unit at Choa Chu Kang Stadium for ADIJII Chief Scout 2024, went to help at CLTC 2024 at Admiralty Primary School. Another memorable experience so far was helping to clean up an elderly’s maisonette in Bedok Reservoir.

All in all, I’m back to writing and documenting about my Scouting journey ahead. I look forward to being able to write more!

Yours in Scouting,

Aidyn Harris
