Silver Arrow - Sports & Hobbies

Task : Show good sportsmanship and explain why it is important

In times of the pandemic, it is hard to play a team sport as there's limitation to the number of people that can be in a group as such games like soccer and basketball have not been played in awhile. I have only played team sports during P.E lessons for the past two years and even so it is in a small group of 2 or 5 and swim.

Good sportsmanship means being fair and ethical to those who we are playing with be it our teammates or the opponents. Don't be a sore loser, congratulate the winner and if our team wins don't overly brag about it.

During the school holidays, I played online games with my friends. We work together as a team towards a common goal and listen to each other's opinion and strategies. When we lose, we take it as lesson learnt as we played a fair game and did not cheat or played unfairly.

Practice good sportsmanship for a scout makes friends and maintains harmonious relations.
