Task: Write a diary entry and then share it with Akela about how you have tried to put your Scout Law into practice in your daily life.
A scout is to be trusted
I always honour the promises that I make and try my very best to not break them.
For example: If I promise my parents to independently complete my homework without parental reminders. I will do my best to remember this promise and do it without my parents prompting me.
A scout is loyal
I do not betray my friends or family. Even if my friends disappoint me, I would try to understand it from their perspective and remain loyal to our friendship.
A scout make friends, establishes and maintain harmonious relations
I try to make new friends and maintain good relationship with others. I meet new people from time to time like new classmates in tuition classes, I try to make friends with them and keep a good friendship.
A scout is disciplined and considerate
I will remember to be considerate of other people’s feeling. Not everyone would think like me. I always forget that but now I try to be considerate of others.
A scout has courage in all difficulties
There are many difficult task that I encounter. I try my level best to challenges these difficulties like trying new things I was once afraid of. Recently, I manage to challenge my fear of height by walking on the tree top walk at Gardens by the Bay.
