Silver Arrow - Looking after myself - Road Safety

Task 1 : Show you know how to behave as pedestrian by demonstrating the kerb drill

I have been going to and from school independently since I was in Primary 3. My parents have ensured that I practice safe commute to and from school by practicing the Kerb Drill.

These are the steps for the Kerb Drill

  1. Look Right

  2. Look Left

  3. Look Right

  4. Ensure all vehicles have come to a complete stop

  5. Raise your hand high up

  6. Cross briskly

Task 2 : Tips on how and where to cross the road safely

Always use a proper crossings like traffic lights, overhead bridges, underpass or zebra crossings. Never ever cross the road dangerously at uncontrolled junction.

I made a poster using the Canva to show where to cross safely in Singapore.
