Task 1 :Make a 5 min slideshow presentation to tell your leader and Six about one of the hobbies or sports you regularly engage in. Explain what inspired you to the hobby or sport and what you have done recently to improve or develop it.
I have created a PowerPoint presentation on my hobbies and shared it with my leader.

My favourite sports are swimming, cycling, archery and golfing. I swim the every week and have been learning swimming since I was three. I learn how to do strokes such as the freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and the sidestroke. Other than doing strokes, I also practice my water safety skills such as wearing a life vest in the water and water treading.

What inspired me to swim ?
I chose to swim as it is a great way to keep fit. It is a low-impact sport. Swimming keeps my heart rate up, builds endurance and muscle strength. Most importantly, swimming burns more calories than running.
What have I done to improve on my swimming?
Recently, I have learnt 1 new stroke, the sidestroke and 2 new water safety skills, water treading and putting on a life vest in water and how to jump into a pool safely using techniques like the straddle jump and the stride entry. I have improved on my breast stroke, my back stroke and mastered my freestyle.
Task 2 : Try a hobby or sport which is new to you and write an explanation what you have done recently to improve and develop it.

Recently, during Glamping experience at the Sarimbun Campsite, I learnt how to play archery. I enjoyed myself and I wish to play archery again soon.
I looked up archery courses online and plan to join a course to learn more about archery. I have also watched previous Olympics games on Archery and learning the technique to hold the bow and arrow properly to improve my game.
