Task 1: Find out about my home country

My home country is Singapore. The population in Singapore in 2021 is, 5,896,686. There are 4 races living in Singapore, Malay, Chinese, Indian and Eurasian. The land size of Singapore is 728 square kilometres. Singapore is normally divided into North, South, East and Central of Singapore. I live in the North of Singapore and I am part of the North Area Scouts.

This is the Singapore Flag

The Singapore Flag has 2 colours, red and white. The colour red symbolises universal brotherhood and that everyone is equal while the colour white symbolises pervading and everlasting purity and virtue. While there is also a Crescent and 5 stars on the right hand side of the flag. The Crescent represents the rising of a young nation and the 5 stars stand for the Nation's ideals of democracy, peace,progress, justice and equality.
